Loving You.

Oh to love and be loved, this has been the desire of every heart cry and would I be any different?
I sit here pondering on how far we have come together.
Do you remember the day we met and how foolishly my words failed me?

Do you remember these words
'I will spend my all proving that I love you'.
Dear you see loving you, was beyond my control, abilities and imagination.

It was beyond my comprehension and capabilities,
trying to define what loving you means may seem impossible,
but dear take a seat and allow me to try to express
what loving you means to me.

Loving you brought out a side of me that I neglected for a while.
Loving you made me smile without thought.
Much like the way I breath without thought.
Loving you can be so painful and yet so sweet,
how could the two go hand in hand but you made it so for me.

Loving you made me a better man,
loving you made me bend my knees each night to thank God for a chance to hold you in my arms.
Loving you gave me sleepless nights
sitting up thinking how could she choose me above all and
silently praying for help to not mess up.

Loving you meant and means I will fight for you
even with my last breath until I see the queen in you expressed to the world.
If loving you means walking through the many foes,
fire and flood,
baby be assured that I will do it without thought
for your love is worth it all.

Loving you simple means without you I do not exist anymore.
