I am fundraising

Hi Dear Readers, As much as I try to keep my personal activities (was about to say personal life! Hehe) away from this blog... I beg this one has to. So I am fundraising over the next couple of months because I have been selected to take part in a UK government funded programme; International Citizen Service (ICS). ICS provides young people aged 18-25 and above the opportunity to volunteer overseas with a choice of 8 or so development agencies. UK volunteers will be matched with one of the NGOs (for short), where they will be assessed, selected and trained to work on development projects with volunteers from the countries they are selected for. I have volunteered on this programme before with Tearfund, a Christian NGO. This year, I applied for a team leader role and was successful in securing a place with Restless Development.
